The annual Durban FilmMart would like to remind all African filmmakers interested in submitting their projects for DFM 2015 that submissions are currently open and close on the 15^{th<\/sup> February 2015.<\/span><\/p>\n}

We look forward to the submissions for next year\u2019s DFM and encourage African filmmakers to take a chance and put themselves out there – you never know where this first step can take you.\u201d says Durban Film Office\u2019s Toni Monty.<\/span><\/p>\n

DFM has worked with ninety-five official projects making their debuts at the four day event in Durban over the past five years. Many DFM alumni\u2019s have secured further funding grants and screened at film festivals around the world, establishing Durban FilmMart as a key platform for budding African filmmakers to propel their film making careers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Durban FilmMart 2015 will select 10 fiction feature and 10 Documentary feature projects in development to participate in the 6^{th<\/sup> Durban FilmMart taking place 17 \u2013 20^{th<\/sup> July 2015. Interested African filmmakers, from writers to directors, are encouraged to submit their projectsby 15 February 2015.<\/span><\/p>\n}}

It is important to note that all projects must have both a producer and director attached.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
